SEPTEMBER 13, 2006 School Board Members:
Donald Bazzell 2006 Pursuant to the Warrant, Moderator Michael Kennedy opened the meeting at 6:00 P.M. Kennedy read the Article. ARTICLE 1: To see if the School District will vote to authorize the School Board toconvey a permanent easement over the Woodsville Elementary School property abutting Dartmouth College Highway for the construction of a retaining wall that will become part of the improvements of the proposed intersection on Route 10 and Central Street on such terms and conditions as the School Board determines are in the best interests of the School District. (The Haverhill Cooperative School Board recommends this article.) Regis Roy moved the article. Jack Brill seconded. Pat Buchanan motioned to amend the article to read: "To see if the School District will vote to authorize the School Board to convey temporary and permanent easements over the Woodsville Elementary School property abutting Dartmouth College Highway (Tax Lot 113, Map 103 and Tax Lot 36, Map 104) to the State of New Hampshire to access the property for the demolition of existing walls and fencing; the clearing, grading, grubbing, and sloping of the land; construction of a retaining wall and fences; installation of drainage improvements; the reconstruction of driveway and sidewalk; the erection of utility poles and associated wires; and maintenance and reconstruction of the retaining wall and fences on the property that will become part of the improvements of the proposed intersection on Route 10 and Central Street; and for any other improvements and purposes on such terms and conditions as the School Board determines are in the best interests of the School District." Jack Brill seconded. No further discussion. Amendment passed by voice vote. Article passed as amended by voice vote. Vicki Padovani motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:08 p.m. Regis Roy seconded.
